We heard several horror stories from people who had remodeled their homes and the problems they had encountered with their contractors. So it was with reluctance that we began our project to expand our kitchen and add a master bedroom suite over the garage. When we first met Branden OVery, we found him to be straightforward and easy to talk with. Brandens down-to-earth nature was the reason we selected TOPP Construction over other contractors.
Over the course of our remodel project, we found Branden and TOPP Construction excellent to work with. Because we were designing as we were remodeling, we ended up making several major changes along the way. Branden was very flexible and willing to work with us, offering excellent suggestions and ideas regarding possible options for our home.
We were so pleased with the professional yet friendly way in which Branden managed the job, the caliber of the sub-contractors used and the excellent workmanship provided, that we expanded our remodel project. Instead of limiting the project to the kitchen and master suite, we remodeled the entire upstairs, expanding the living room and two bedrooms, adding a bathroom, bedroom and laundry room and replacing the fireplace. We also changed the exterior of the home, adding stucco, a covered patio and a beautiful front porch entry.
We have been very pleased with Branden and the work of TOPP Construction. Branden provided options and offered suggestions, but was not pushy. He was very aware of what we wanted and worked with us to achieve our desired results. He was cognizant of the finances and looked for ways to save money without compromising quality. He addressed problems in a timely fashion and kept us apprised of the anticipated time frame for each phase.
We were so comfortable working with Branden and so pleased with the work of his crew, upon completion of the upstairs and exterior, we asked Branden and TOPP Construction to remodel our basement, which included two bedrooms, bathroom, storage room and family room with a fireplace and we bar. We highly recommend Branden OVery and TOPP Construction for any remodel project big or small, and will certainly use him for our future construction needs.
