UTAH’S TOPP GENERAL CONTRACTOR

We had an incredible experience with Topp Construction on our home remodel and addition. It was a significant project, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The quality of the work, attention to detail, and commitment to making sure things were done right really stood out throughout the entire process. A special shoutout to Sergio and Scott. They were absolutely tremendous to work with. Beyond the quality of their work, they were dependable, communicative, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about our home and our family. After having them around throughout such a large project, we can honestly say we’re going to miss our interactions with them! We’re extremely grateful to the entire Topp Construction team for helping transform our home into exactly what we hoped it could be. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a remodel or addition.

If you’re looking for contractors who are skilled, reliable, and honest in how they do business, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Topp. Building a custom home can be stressful, but their transparency, attention to detail, and steady communication made the entire process feel much more manageable. They have excellent contractors who pay close attention to detail and make sure the job is done right, with high quality and the work will hold up over time. I’ve since brought them back for smaller repairs on other homes and they've have been quick to respond and done high quality work.

We worked with Topp Remodeling to complete a complicated remodel of our near 100 year old house. The remodel was full of hidden surprises that the team at Topp was able to handle and complete the project with beautiful results. We would be happy to work with the Topp Team in the future.

Topp Construction has done two projects for us, the first involved the conversion of an odd shaped room in our 1890 Victorian into a beautiful master bathroom and a large walk-in closet while the second was the restoration of our front porch. At some point, the original wood porch had been replaced with concrete and steel and Topp restored it to the original configuration. Branden, John, and Sergio were all knowledgeable, flexible, and great to work with, offering tips and advice on the projects. Our main contact, Sergio, was very responsive. Being in the Avenues Historic District, the porch rebuild was subject to historic guidelines. We’ve gotten lots of questions and comments on the porch from passersby! We highly recommend them!

We used Topp Remodeling and Construction to do a construction project at our Park City home and could not have been happier. From estimate to construction to completion, our expectations have been exceeded. Our "point person" was Sergio, who kept us informed and went above and beyond to make sure the project was done on time. The workmanship was exceptional. The new room we had constructed looks fantastic. We cannot recommend Topp Remodeling and Construction enough; they will be our first call for any projects in the future!

Branden and John ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS! I've had the pleasure of working with these gentlemen for the last few months, and they know what a Utah homeowners need to get their project taken care of THOROUGHLY. Branden's attention to detail when working on the project itself paired with John's accuracy when providing estimates is second to none. If you're looking for a contractor in Utah who doesn't run their mouth with a bunch of nonsense, TOPP IS THE BEST SOLUTION. I'd highly recommend Topp to all my friends and family in Utah.

I highly recommend Branden and his team. Our major addition was completed quickly, professionally, and with the utmost customer service. We loved working with Topp Construction!

My home is nearly done, and I LOVE the changes! Branden has taken great care of my home, and even put up with me being overly picky. I will post pictures when we finally get the backordered cabinet doors.

Branden is extremely professional. He is always happy to answer questions and takes the time to explain everything before work begins. Topp construction always does things properly and refuses to leave without ensuring the job looks perfect. Best quality company I’ve ever worked with

Topp handled the remodeling of our laundry room and did it quickly and beautifully. Branden was great to deal with and was prompt and attentive to our needs. I'm calling them back when we remodel our bathroom!

In December of 2020 Branden of Topp remodeling & construction rebuilt a deck for me. The job entailed replacing rotted out joist and all other parts of the deck. Since part of the job entail removal of a sliding glass door to get to the joist, it seemed like a good time to replace the door at this time due to a seal failure. Which meant a change order and more cost then originally planed. Branden explained all options concerning materials to use, cost and timeline for the job to be completed. Branden and Topp remodeling & construction did me a good job at a fair price. I would highly recommend them to any one that is in need of a contractor.

We can't sing enough praise for Branden and Topp Construction & Remodeling. He was professional, always on time and transparent and trustworthy in every dealing. He provided tips and direction that were indispensable along the way. We met with several other contractors with regard to our project and Branden stood apart from the rest. We will recommend him without reservation to friends and family going forward. If you're looking for an upfront, honest and professional contractor look no further. This company runs a tight ship and quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction is their #1 priority.

We hired them to do some extensive renovations and we ended up in a total rebuild of our home, due to the lack of structural integrity in the 70 year old walls. So we ended up with a beautiful brand new forever home. We love the work they managed for us. Good communications and quality work.

Topp is currently completing an addition/remodel for us. Selected them after soliciting several bids and doing fairly extensive research on different contractor/design-build options. We are partway through, but so far we are tremendously impressed. Communication is great, John and Brandon both very professional, responsive and on top of things. They are a great team as well with design, construction, and interior design knowledge all in one place. Billing so far has been very transparent and timely. We were nervous about having work happen during the COVID pandemic, but everyone has been great- following social distancing, materials delivery folks wearing face coverings and/or keeping distance, etc. We've had the usual bumps in the road, but nothing due to anything Topp has done and I see that they are working hard every day to keep things rolling. We are happy to support this local business and hope others will do the same!! (now is a great time to get your projects done...) We're very excited to see the finished product!

Branden and his team are courteous, responsive, and build a quality product. They keep you in the loop on progress and any items that need to be addressed. It's been several years since the build, but we had an earthquake today and my house has remained as tight as a drum.

Topp Construction did a good job on my remodeling and got things done in a timely manner. They did quality work at a fair price and were friendly and professional to work with. I highly recommend!

I have known Branden (the owner of Topp Construction) for years and he has NEVER done a mediocre or poor job on any project for me. Everything he has ever done has turned out amazing and I have been extremely happy with the final product. I have referred many family and friends to him and every one of them have had the same positive experience. I have hired Topp Construction to do both work at my personal home and business. I will continue to use Topp Construction for any and every project that I have without hesitation. Thank you for all your hard work Branden. It is so much appreciated!

We decided to finish our basement this past year and had Topp Construction do the job for us. I can't say enough about how amazing everything turned out. It looks better than we even imagined! Topp Construction worked hard to create the look we were going for and worked so many hours to get it finished in the time frame we had discussed. I would absolutely recommend Topp Construction to anyone looking to get help on any construction project. Thank you for everything !!

We hired on Topp Construction to renovate our veterinary clinic and are so impressed with their work. Thank you for all of your hard work! We absolutely love how everything turned out!

Great people to work with!!

Wow, Our Kitchen and Home remodel is amazing. Working with Topp Construction team was easy and we made it through the whole process without any issues. Brandon & John worked with us on the upfront planning and costs. Once we agreed on the plans, John led us through the construction process step by step. My wife was his main point of contact, he worked well with her. John even met her at several stores helping nail down decisions. All of Topp’s crews were friendly, conscientious and cleaned up after themselves. They gave us good advice on the work they came in to do. We are stroked on how well our remodel made our home new again. Walkers

Great remodeling for a fair price. Excellent contactor.

As of writing this review I’ve been working with Topp Construction for just over 6 months now, planning, prepping, and building a detached garage with an apartment above it. Having renovated 3 houses and worked with many contractors I’d grown to be pretty distrustful of the whole building industry in general. Topp Construction has restored my trust in building contractors again with how well they handled the project I contracted them to complete. They’ve been a pleasure to work with, their workmanship is excellent, and I’ve never presented them a problem they haven’t immediately corrected without pushing back. I highly recommend Topp Construction, and I’ve sent their contact information to as many friends and colleagues as I could. My project has turned out better than I expected, and I’m more than happy I took this project on with Branden (CEO), John (VP), and the rest of the Topp crew. If you need a quality builder to help you remodel or build in the Salt Lake valley Topp is a great choice. Topp gets high marks on 5 key considerations that I’m going to break out in more detail below: Quality, Reliability, Communication, Flexibility, and Value. Every person I’ve had in the garage and the apt has been impressed with the quality and workmanship on display, and I’ve heard, more than a couple times, “whatever you’re paying these guys, it’s worth it.” I’ve also been pleasantly surprised by how little effort has been needed on my end to ensure commitments were kept. If Topp agreed to something it got done and didn’t really require any prodding on my end to ensure it happened. They said they’d do it and then they went and did it. For anyone with a normal adult life of work and family obligations that reliability and dependability is huge. Communication has been generally very good with Topp. I’ve never gone more than a couple days without hearing back from Topp when I have reached out to them about something or other, and their responses have been clear and provided timelines along with good expectation setting. I modeled my entire project out in CAD, rendered everything so I could see it ahead of time, and had a detailed financial plan covering how I wanted to proceed, and I still found things that I wanted changed and added during the project. Just the nature of large projects, and I put a lot of value on having a flexible partner who can help accomplish those changes. I did pay what I consider a lot of money for a total of about 1,300 sq. ft. half of which is finished garage space. However, I think that is more a function of the demand for builders in Utah than anything else, and given the smoothness of the project, and Topp’s ability to meet my change requests the money has been well spent and my vision has been realized. That’s worth a lot when you’re talking about your home and where you hope to spend the next several decades.

We remodeled our entire main level last summer and chose Topp to do the job. John communicated with us throughout the project and the finished product is stunning. Thanks Guys!

Topp Construction is very professional and they deliver quality building within the budget and on time.

I appreciate these guys!

Recently, our kitchen remodel was done by Topp Remodeling & Construction Co. The remodel was of a condominium galley kitchen, utility room, and guest bathroom. The work done by Topp was notable for a number of reasons. The workmanship and daily project management were exceptional, especially, given the condominium unit upper floor location and HOA set of rules. The nature of the project, including all work and material, was under $40, 000. The remodel consisted of all new cabinets, quartz countertops, ceramic glazed subway backsplash, quartz composite sinks, and updated electrical outlets. Prior to a complete teardown, site preparation was performed, i.e., dumpster, flooring protection, plumbing disconnects, appliances relocated, and a plastic wall-to-ceiling dust & debris barrier. Afterwards, restoration was completed along with touch up and area painting. Beforehand, a fixed price contract, a daily project schedule, and a HOA project request were agreed upon and completed. The project started and ended exactly on schedule. We feel we were very fortunate to have found a company such as Topp Remodeling & Construction. After several months of visiting a number of product suppliers and contractors, it was Topp that helped in refining our product choices and design. It was very reassuring to find a company made up of high caliber journeymen. Topp did everything it said it would do as a general contractor – from start to finish. N and E Trapa February, 2017

I am just finishing up an extensive remodel in Cottonwood Heights with Topp Construction. I found the knowledge and the work displayed by Branden O'Very and his entire recommended specialists to be very professional and the finished projects to be at the highest quality. Branden was always in constant communication and never failed to return a phone call at an impressive speed. I would highly recommend Topp if you are looking for high quality work. Thank you Topp for giving me and my kids such a beautiful home!

Did a sizeable remodel of kitchen including moving walls and putting in a two - story addition. Overall Branden did a really good job- project kept moving along at a reasonable pace, and communication was really good as Branden always answered the phone. Pricing was reasonable and quality was good, follow-up was excellent as well. Would highly recommend.

We did a major remodel of the outside of our home. We got a number of bids, but it became clear that Topp knew what they were doing more than the others and their pricing seemed right in-line with the market. Their contractors were all very pleasant and nice to work with. The project finished on-time and on budget. I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call on our next project and happily recommend them to our neighbors and you!
